The performances and economics of crossbred (White Pekin × Khaki Campbell) ducks produced through artificial insemination reared under extensive system management were studied. A total 150 day old ducklings randomly distributed to six farmers in three villages (25 number each) Odisha state they guided maintain the birds with resources available them. brooded for ten days during which offered boiled broken rice. Subsequently fed from surroundings besides being kitchen wastes, left over rice, vegetable peels, fish scales, etc. utilizing village ponds swimming as feeding source. secured night shelter was provided each flock. growth production mortality rate recorded possible extent up 40 wks age by combined effort farmer family project personal. income generated sale eggs calculation economics. It observed that overall 12% gained body weight 577.69±15.88 g, 1065.31±16.36 1763.33±35.17 g 1840.64±36.30 at 4th, 8th, 16th 24th week first egg flock on ~150 days. duck village/house weeks found be 51.25% 59.43±0.50 average 40th week. Further, net profit ₹9900 calculated individual considering live only expenditure towards cost ducklings. concluded cross-bred (WP KC) are suitable rearing farmers’ field a higher economic gain.
